PRIVATE SPANISH LESSONS

PRIVATE SPANISH LESSONS

You can take private Spanish classes with us online or within the university campus, and choose to study either entirely in this way. The contents, time and dates of your private classes can be arranged to suit your individual needs. For example, courses can be designed to help you develop negotiating skills, presentation skills, telephone skills, writing skills, etc, in Spanish. Private lessons are available at all levels from beginners to advanced, and for students of all ages.

Ángela Patricia Uribe Naranjo

Career summary

Open to learning and knowledge of new areas that allow me to grow personally and professionally. Focused on the management of results and fulfillment of objectives. Open, responsible, enterprising person with leadership skills, adaptability to change and excellent interpersonal relationships.

Long years of experience and experience in field work with the British Petroleum Company and Drummond Limited gave rise to the creation of the “Rápido Aprenda Español” immersion program, where I had the experience of teaching Spanish to executives from different multinational companies and diplomatic entities such as Petrominerales, Baker Oil Tools, Embassy of the Netherlands, Tepma, to name a few.

With an extensive background and experience in teaching, elaboration of pedagogical, didactic and cultural material that facilitates the knowledge of the different cultures; promotion of cultural exchange that enables the acquisition of new teaching-learning experiences and the search for opportunities for socio-cultural growth.

Marisol Rendón Manrique

Marisol Rendón Manrique

Career summary

My name is Marisol Rendón, I have a diploma from a teacher training college, a degree in Modern Languages and a master’s degree in Educational Technologies and Digital Skills. I have experience teaching English and Spanish linguistics as a mother tongue and as a foreign language, both in face-to-face environments and in virtual learning spaces. I have been a teacher at the University for almost 5 years and recently we started creating learning materials for Spanish as a foreign language aimed at students around the world.

In addition to the academic preparation and constant updating of knowledge, materials and information, in my classes there is always dynamism, creativity, trust and kindness. We learn best when we feel comfortable doing so.

Career summary

I consider myself a highly motivated and hardworking professional with over 10 years of teaching experience. At ease in working in a multicultural and diverse environment, and passionate about teaching, traveling to unknown places and meeting new people. I studied Modern Languages and a Master’s degree in Translation and Intercultural mediation in Spain. In 2019, I started working as the Academic Coordinator at the Languages Center in the University of Manizales, which has allowed me to interact with people from abroad and develop strategies to improve our courses from an international perspective.

Sergio Arias Florez

Career summary

I am Sergio Arias, a language teacher at the University of Manizales. I have worked in business areas both in Spanish and English. I hold a Language and Business undergraduate degree and a Master’s in Administration. I am passionate about discussing economics and marketing in intercultural environments.

I have strong empathic abilities which allow me to interact easily with students no matter where they come from in order to unfold the principles of international business matters in my mother tongue or in English.
