Spanish On Campus – 8-week program

Would you like to improve your Spanish while experiencing university life and Colombian culture?
Spanish On Campus is an 8-week Spanish language program offered by Universidad de Manizales. It is designed to help international students develop practical communication skills in Spanish through face-to-face classes in a university environment.
The program includes 80 hours of Spanish instruction, with 10 hours of classes per week. Classes focus on developing the four main language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with particular emphasis on communication in real-life situations. Students also have the opportunity to experience life in Manizales, located in Colombia's Coffee Region, and to learn more about Colombian culture while using Spanish in everyday contexts. The program combines language learning with opportunities to interact with the local environment and experience Colombian culture in the University.

Program outcomes

By the end of the program, students will have developed and strengthened their ability to communicate in Spanish in everyday situations regarding the level they are enrolled.
